Two brands that have made some major contributions to urban adidas berlin style and culture during their lifespans are both celebrating significant anniversaries this year. Pioneering hip-hop label Def Jam is turning 25 this year, while adidas will mark its 60th anniversary. With adidas kicks and classic hip-hop going hand in hand, it made perfect sense to team up for a co-celebration of the respective milestones. Def Jam and adidas have joined forces to co-brand some anniversary editions of a few of adidas's classic models. The first batch consists of a red and gold Forum and a black and red Stan Smith.
Two of the most exciting technologies to come out of the adidas camp in the past couple of years are about to collide. The new adidas adiZero PrimeKnit Boost marries the adidas Primeknit upper with the super adidas bermuda lightweight adidas BOOST technology on the sole. And while we're all aware of the crazy colors available on a pair of knit sneakers, adidas has decided to introduce the silhouette via a clean black and white combination.
